I know I sound like a broken record but I really am blessed with some of the coolest couples! nick’s a freelance videographer who films reality tv for vh1, tlc and more! check out his website: www.nickfreleng.com. and jamie is a dietician that currently works with kidney patients. jamie is originally from alton but they both currently call redondo beach, cali their home. with nick being in the “artistic business” they both had high expectations for their wedding photography. and { your story } was a perfect fit for their artistic vision. their may 12, 2012 wedding is going to be at the Loading Dock in grafton, il with the reception in the Boat Works which is a uber cool old boat house right on the mississippi river. i LOVE old settings like this. imo, it’s one of the coolest places in the area that anyone could have their reception at. old wood and steelwork, pulleys still hanging, etc, { you get the picture }
the really funny part about nick and jamie finding me is that my family was visiting my parents while they were camping at pere marquette state park in grafton, just a week before I met nick and jamie. I went “prop shopping” with melisa and zael at a flea market that was being held in the old boat house and was telling my wife how cool this place would be for weddings and receptions. I had no idea that it was being used for that, let along that I would be meeting a couple a week later who were going to be using this very location. it probably sounded crazy to them when i was explaining it to them when we met. but we all chalked it up as this was meant to be!
