so who's the person behind the camera? my name's jeremy and quite simply I.love.capturing.the.moments.of.life . it's an honor for me to be a part of my clients' lives and document these moments in a way that captures the true essence of that moment in time for them.

my absolute favorite is showing a newlywed couple their wedding images and watching the brides' eyes fill with tears. then I know **I've*done*my*job**.

this blog is a journey of my personal and professional life and the images I've captured along the way. from emotional wedding imagery to candid family shots and even including some of my favorite shots from my own family. what you see before you is the culmination of images and stories of my incredible clients, many of whom I now call friends. and i'll even throw in some of my random ramblings from time to time.

my weakness is anything automotive and tech stuff. especially camera related. i.must.have.it.

i've been married for 14 yrs to the most amazingly creative woman and i'm the father of an even more amazing 9 yr old princess.

so here’s why you want me to do your e/session!

ok, so a few weeks ago I came back from an e/session and posted on FB that I just finished up a sort of unusual e/session.

the story goes…so a couple weeks before jess and craig’s e/session, i email them to prep them for their session and one of the things that jess mentions is that craig likes old muscle cars. being the car buff i am i thought that was pretty cool but told her i didn’t have any connections to being able to get one for their shoot. but i did tell her that it’s not uncommon for something fun or unusual to pop up while i’m shooting an e/session or even weddings. either way i reassured her that their shoot would be fun and unique

fast forward to the day of their session. so while we’re starting to shoot, i ask craig about his muscle car fetish, what’s his favorite right? so he tells me he likes old mustangs, especially the shelby cobras. my thoughts exactly! one of the all time classics! so we go about the shoot and get over to one of our locations near the hill and i went to go get something out of my car. when i look up, there’s a late 60′s mustang. but not just any mustang, a 1968 shelby cobra gt500. the king of mustangs!! i couldn’t believe it! i look over at craig whose jaw is on the ground. so i run over and get the drivers attention and told him what we were doing and of course asked if we could use his car for the shoot. him and his wife loved the idea so we parked it and starting shooting. none of us could believe it. this was the car he just told me about as we were starting the shoot. what was funny was that we were shooting in a kind of sketchy area so it made it that much more remarkable that here was this car!

i’m telling you people, this is what happens on my shoots, we have fun and something unusual always happens!

so aside from that, jess and craig are getting married in st john virgin islands next spring so we of course had to do a themed shoot. complete with map paper airplanes and of course some vintage luggage. it was a truly unique shoot that ended up with some great surprises that none of us will forget anytime soon.
